After taking a deep dive into EMF these past couple of weeks, I’m glad to be resting in my right brain.…ah…..
With the eclipse - a symbol of new beginnings - I’ve been thinking a lot about the phrase “Let go what needs to go and let come what needs to come,” which I first heard from Tosha Silver.
Often when I sit down to meditate, I’ll match that phrase with my breathing out and breathing in. You might try it.
Though meditation has become an important part of my life, there was a time I simply felt unable to be still. I suppose I was in a chronic state of fight or flight. Cutting paper and painting wooden balls were my gateways to meditation. While my mind was busy serving my hands, it would take a break from my daily routine and worries. It was in those very moments, I found clarity and inspiration.
Then I learned that getting rid of clutter could also be meditative. Sorting, arranging and removing do wonders for the mind and spirit. It also creates space - a vacuum or invitation for whatever wants to come.
