I have mcas. I try to lower stress but I also do some public speaking and that can trigger the brain fog at the worst time lol

Thank you for commenting this. I can really empathize. I don't do a lot of public speaking now, but when I did, there was one incidence where I was hit with brain fog out of the blue...as you said, "the worst time".

I've also found that EMFs can impact neuro-immune disorders via the MHC1 gene:

Thank you Courtney for this concise article, along with the info on the Welsh approach.

Thank you for this. Can you elaborate on what you mean that you found that EMFs can impact neuro-immune disorders via MHC1-gene. I'm not challenging you, but trying to understand what that look like specifically a person and how can that be measured. or parsed apart from the many ways that inflammation can be driven by EMF. I tried to track the reference in your article, but I'm not finding direct research on EMF and MHC1. Thank you, again.

Does the Zinc that heals the gut lining (zinc carnosine or Polaprezinc) assist in balancing? It is helping with my acid reflux. As long as I take it my acid reflux stays away.

I would expect optimizing zinc using any form would help with lowering inflammation, lowering oxidative stress, improving integrity of the gut lining and helping with neurotransmitter functioning. From a Walsh approach, we use zinc picolinate because it is the best absorbed. Zinc carnosine has been shown in studies to have benefits on the gastrointestinal lining, but I still tend to use zinc picolinate more commonly since I'm better able to predict what dose will be needed to get to the optimal range. Thank you for this question.

I'm really sorry you are struggling with this. In my experience, there are usually underlying root causes that need to be addressed, even though mast cell interventions can be very helpful in the meantime. You may have seen my recent newsletter, about mast cell activation, however, I go more deeply into causes in this article -

I hope something here is helpful. Thank you for commenting.

Thank you! This has been horrible. I can’t even go outside now! And I’m so weak

Thank you for sharing this. In my experience, the most common cause of mast cell activation is mold toxicity. The test we usually use for this is the Realtime Mycotoxin test. Mold toxicity can cause the immune system to become overreactive. Most people that I see with EHS. have or have had mold toxicity. I hope something here is helpful.

Is it possible to get that test done through you even if I’m in Idaho? I did some biofeedback and mold is high in my body. We’ve had mold creep up in our BRAND NEW RV 😬

Realtime sells directly to some states. I don't see Idaho listed, but you should be able to order the test from DirectLabs.com Just make sure it is the Realtime, as the Great Plains test that they also have is less reliable.

If I know mold is high can I just treat it or do I need more testing to know the mold strain?

The mycotoxin test tells which toxins are present. Binders are chosen and implemented based on what the test shows. Then for many once binders are on board, treatment with antifungals is needed.

Yes please share your knowledge on the pieces outside the vitamin / nutrient support. I did a variation of Walsh protocol for years and it did it do anything for my zinc /copper imbalance. It wasn’t until I addressed my mitochondria and cell membrane health due to a life of chronic stress and cell danger response and now I’m following that up with a program that addresses cell danger from top down (limbic) but also very importantly bottom up (vagus toning and somatics) it’s this combination of work that can free up life force in the body for healing and restorations and rebalance. This allows the cells to no longer be rigid and allow nutrients in and waste out.

Interesting. Might I learn more about this protocol ?
